Sustainability 101
Adults are feeling overwhelmed by all the contradictory information about the environment in the media. This is an introduction to the issue of sustainability. The objectives of this workshop are to help participants get their bearings, and to be able to understand the issues from the roots up, to then be able to make the best informed decisions for themselves and their families.
Sustainable LeisureĀ
This is an opportunity for interested participants already somewhat aware of sustainability issues to put their determination into action. Summer holidays and warm-weather fun have this aura of harmlessness about them yet there is much we could do to protect the environment - and our health, while relaxing. The objective of the workshop is to help participants apply their awareness of sustainability to their Summer activities and fun, and come away with concrete ideas to live more sustainably.
Sustainable Holidays
This is an opportunity for interested participants already somewhat aware of sustainability issues to put their determination into action. Holidays, though couched in warm, fuzzy feelings, can be the source of extreme waste and environmental impact. The objective of the workshop is to help participants apply their awareness of sustainability to these harmless-seeming days, and come away with concrete ideas to live more sustainably.
